Daemon is a collaborative Nordic-style larp that focuses on the connection between a human and their manifested inner self or soul – the Daemon. The larp is set in a world inspired by the trilogy of novels “His Dark Materials” by Phillip Pullman. The core vision for this larp is experiencing what it is like to play the same character as someone else and being in symbiosis with them in an extreme form of dyadic play. You don’t sign up in pairs to play family members, lovers, or anything of the sort – but rather two parts of the same being.

In 2026 Daemon Larp will have two runs in Finland. The first run will be played in Finnish and second in English. However, all provided materials as well as written communication from the producers will be in English for both runs.

The mastermind behind the game is the Danish larp wright Katrine Wind. The Finnish production is brought to you by Emi Maeda, Paula Pennanen, and Susse Puomio with the support of the association Illusia ry.
