Krystalium Part 3: The Lies We Tell
Project Firestarter is no more. But the fires we set keep on burning.
Project Firestarter was meant to ignite a revolution – and it did. The Iron Tzar fell. But the war did not end. And Firestarter’s success sealed its fate. The Republic could not afford to cast aside the force that had secured its victory. The project, with all its troops, officers and knowledge, has been absorbed into the Dalvian military. Some saw this as necessary, a way to ensure that the sacrifices made were not in vain. Others saw it as the beginning of something else.
With the Old Empire shattered, allies turned against each other. The fight for liberation had never been simple, but now, the lines between revolution and rule, freedom and control, began to blur. The world, once united in revolution, is now divided again. Friends have become enemies. Loyalty is a fragile illusion. And the fire that once burned for freedom now fuels conquest, while power shifts in the shadows. And as the world spirals deeper into war and chaos, one question remains:
Are we still building a future worth living for, or did we only forge new chains?
